Chromacryl Acrylic Paint

Like portfolios the market place is awash with acrylic paint varying from thinly coloured water to artist quality material. We're not interested in the lower end of the market as, broadly speaking, the majority of what is available leads to disappointing results - pale or insipid colour which looks fine when wet but sadly lost when dry.

We've tended to stick with a middle of the road paint which provides consistently pleasing results at a value price. One feature that Chromacryl has is that it has a high percentage of pigmentation to provide rich full colouration when compared to the better known and costlier competition. One criticism of Chroma has been that it is a little thinner in consistency than some of the better known brands (mostly because of the lack of bulk fillers which can reduce colour vibrancy when dry). Recently this issue has been addressed with a thicker paint formula making it truly a cost effective all round good performer.

This versatile quality student paint is based around a warm and cool primary palette to produce a range of vibrant colour. With 26 colours and a selection of mediums in the range Chromacryl is the considered choice for many when it comes to acrylic paint.
